Bret flew in on Wed. and was here for 5 days. t was so much fun to have him here. When he comes with his family , we have to share him with Calleen's family. She has 7 brothers and sisters, and we have 5. It is very hard for them to try to see everyone. I think it puts a lot of stress on them because they are very popular with everyone. It was so fun to wake up each morning and visit like we did when he lived at home. He always takes very good care of us. Bret and I share the love of gardening and different plant. When he came he notice my two contorted filbert tress and he was worried that they have not been trimmed like he likes them. He spent one day fixing all my trees and plants that he had helped me put in years ago. One day when Blayne was out of town Bren convinced me to tear out all our landscaping. We rented a sod cutter and removed all the grass. Then he hook a rope around all the shrubs and pulled them out. When Blayne came home it looked like we had just moved in. He went to work fixing our yard up. He spent one whole day planting bulbs. His hands were so sore he could hardly use them. I love to have him here. When he was little we would plant all kinds of weird thing in our garden , like the three foot long blue potatoes, all kinds of popcorn. asparagus,all kinds of Berry's. He would think about different things and we would send away for them. It was so fun. The rest of my kids are not that crazy about their yards and gardens. We hope you will come back again.
